Effective Case Note Writing is a non-accredited course aimed at staff working in rural and remote areas in the Aged Care or NDIS industry. Learners are taken through basic and more advanced techniques to record case notes.

Case Note training will introduce the learners to basic systems to follow when recording the progress of their client and more tech systems like using a camera to record or photograph a work issue or achievement.


The course was created to fill in the gaps that staff may find after attaining full-time employment.

This course can be delivered/assessed in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.

Course Durations

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

Face-to-Face face-to-face contact time of at least 7 Hours 30 Mins

There are no formal entry requirements. This training is aimed at community services workers who provide a first point of contact and assist individuals in meeting their immediate needs. Staff who work under direct, regular supervision within clearly defined guidelines, are also encouraged to complete.

This certificate has an industry recommended renewal period of 12 months
